Watford attacker Ignacio Pusetto has expressed his delight after the Hornets were able to register a shock but convincing win over Liverpool in the Premier League. Nigel Pearson’s side had gone into the Reds game with a five-match winless league run but they managed to end the streak with a super display against the European champions.
The opening half saw Troy Deeney squander a clear-cut chance to find the back of the net but it appeared that the Hornets could rue the missed opportunity. However, that was not the case, as Ismaila Sarr scored twice for the Hornets before the hour mark while Deeney put the game to bed with the third goal in the 72nd minute.

Fulham manager Scott Parker has heaped praise on Bobby Reid after the forward netted his first goal for the Cottagers. The west London side produced one of their best displays of the season against Derby County at home and Reid was responsible for opening the scoring in the comfortable 3-0 triumph.

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has heaped praise on club-captain Tom Cairney, who has found his goalscoring boots this term. The Scotland international had a forgettable stint in the Premier League last season with just one goal but he has found his scoring touch on the club’s return to the second tier.

Cairney has scored four goals from the past three appearances for the club and he recently bagged a brace against Reading which included a stunning 25-yard strike. Speaking to reporters, Mitrovic said that Cairney is a great player and scorer, but he was hesitant to shoot on goal when the Cottagers were in the Premier League.

Championship favorites Fulham continued their good start to the season as they cruised to a 4-1 victory against 10 man Reading.  Scott Parker’s side has been labeled as one of the favorites after managing to keep the core group of players after last season relegation.

Former Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway has said that Ryan Sessegnon would be better off remaining with Fulham rather than pursuing a bigger challenge at Tottenham Hotspur. The England youth international had an average Premier League campaign with the Cottagers last season but he has still been fancied to make the switch to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Speaking to The Star, Holloway said that Sessegnon should learn under the guidance of Scott Parker at Craven Cottage rather than making the move to Spurs, where he could find himself warming the bench, he told: “The boy is exceptional, he really is. I want to see him play, I want to see him learn – I want him to stay where he is and learn from his new manager in Scott Parker. What Scott can’t teach him isn’t worth knowing.

“Tottenham will come calling again. Why does he need to move now? Will he get in Tottenham’s team straight away? Probably not. He should stay where he is and earn his stripes. There’s some similarities with Gareth Bale – and he was bought very early wasn’t he. He was sold from Southampton [to Tottenham] and it’s all about carrying that weight of expectation.”

Fulham manager Scott Parker has remained coy over the possibility of becoming the permanent manager of the Cottagers. The 38-year-old was unable to prevent the Cottagers from relegation after being handed with the interim role in February, but the club have recently shown promise with three Premier League victories on the bounce.

Speaking after the 1-0 triumph over Cardiff, Parker refused to rule out the permanent managerial post but suggested that the focus remains on ending the season on a good note, he said: “From the outset, all I can do is what's in my control, and that's setting up the team to try to win games and be organised.”

Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon has said that the players within the squad want Scott Parker to take over as the permanent manager of the club at the end of the season. The ex-Cottagers player was handed with the head coach role on an interim basis following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri but this has not improved the club’s results with four successive league defeats.

Speaking exclusively to Standard Sport, he said: "He's changed the mentality [of the squad] in terms of defending the goal and catching teams on the break especially the top six teams. He's really engaged with the fans as well, staying together and not giving up. Yes, of course. I think everyone does, really. He's come in and changed the way we play, you can see again [his impact] around the stadium. It would be good for the club."

The United Kingdom and Ireland will be hosting a joint bid for the 2030 World Cup and up to 12 stadiums are in consideration for the tournament. After repeated failures in order to get the World Cup hosting rights, the United Kingdom has decided to join hands with Ireland in order to be more eligible for the World Cup hosting rights. The United Kingdom has not witnessed a World Cup on home soil since 1966. After having witnessed the World Cup go to several new locations in the last decade, there is a change happening with the likes of United States being awarded the rights to host the tournament.

The United Kingdom believe that there is a strong chance of the World Cup returning to Europe for the 2030 edition, which will see the bidding process begins shortly. In order to win the rights to host a World Cup, the stadium should have a minimum seating capacity of 40,000 as it from several other requirements. Crucially, the total number of teams in the World Cup is likely to exceed 48 teams by the time the 2030 World Cup kicks off. However, this should not pose much of an issue for the United Kingdom and Ireland joint bid, as there are multiple stadiums that fulfilled the requirements.

Fulham manager Scott Parker acknowledged that he cannot take positives from the second half display against Leicester City, given they were made to pay for costly defensive mistakes in the end.

The Cottagers found themselves trailing 1-0 at the break but they came back strongly after the interval with Floyd Ayite levelling the scores in the 51st minute.

Claudio Ranieri has stated his desire to overturn the fortunes of Fulham FC in the current premier league campaign. He appeased fans who slammed his substitutionsduring Saturday’s defeat to Manchester United . Angry supporters chanted: ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’ after the Italian tactician made a substitution in which Andre Schurrlewas replaced with Cyrus Christie. Meanwhile the Fulham faithfuls were expecting him to bring on of Ryan Sessegnon. The locals were aggrieved to see two of their favourites, Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney, kicking their heels on the bench until deep into the second half of the game.

The cottagers fans also called for Ranieri to be axed as the club slumped to their seventh defeat in eight games. Ranieri said he doesn’t know why the fans are angry, because he had two players with fluincluding Andre Schurrle. That he could understand the fans always want their players to play but it’s not always possible. He said they wold try their best to win their next two league fixtures.
