POGREBNYAK WANTS PERMANENT DEAL

Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has done little to suppress the speculation that he could sign with the London club on a permanent deal after moving into London on a permanent basis.

The striker, who is on a six-month loan deal from Germany, has impressed in the Fulham first-team this season.

There have been many reports that the Fulham will be interested in converting the deal into permanent one when the two clubs discuss a potential transfer once the season is over. Pavel Pogrebnyak struggled for goals during his time at Germany, but he has since been a revelation in England.

Pavel Pogrebnyak has so far scored five goals for Fulham this season. He could very much replace the man of the moment – Clint Dempsey. It is thought that Italian club Roma have started to play around £ 10 million for the United States international, who is out of contract next summer. Fulham will also feel that it is a good deal for player who is 29 years old. The football betting markets believe that Pogrebnyak is odds-on to sign on a permanent deal.

Pavel Pogrebnyak could be the perfect striker to replace Clint Dempsey, as he will be available on a free transfer this summer. His contract comes to an end at the end of the season. Pogrebnyak seems to have found some lucky charm in the form of the house as well. He has revealed that the house that he has moved into was previously used by former Chelsea manager José Mourinho.

"I like my life in London very much. Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Frank Lampard from Chelsea live in my neighbourhood as well as the players of Fulham. Jose Mourinho lived in my house before," Pogrebnyak said in a recent interview given to the Russian website Tden. Pogrebnyak held a housewarming party in order to celebrate the purchase of his new house in London.
