Performance of Fulham dipped

A recent dip in form has seen Fulham only being able to win 2 league matches starting from January until February 21st of the current year. From that period of time there have been 8 league matches played and only 2 triumphs have been secured which is not a good record for a club is inching their way closer and closer to the bottom relegation zone of the English League Championship.

Fulham seems to be going through a season filled with highs and lows as Kit Symons was appointed as the caretaker manager of the club back in September of 2014 and he managed to rescue the team out of the danger bottom spots but they might be headed back to those spots after suffering a 3-1 defeat against Bolton and 4 days later another defeat against Ipswich Town.

Kit Symons has had to step up and defend his squad by saying that this is a work in progress as the team is still going through a rebuilding phase which is going to take time before seeing the results on the pitch.

"When I first took over it was about steadying the ship, galvanizing and getting everything together. We did that and that went quite well. It is about rebuilding now and rebuilding is the tough bit, given where we had to come from. We need to get on with it and do better, without a doubt. We've always been closer to the bottom than we have to the top at any stage since I took over. We are in a bit of a scrap at the moment and we need to roll our sleeves up and fight.’’ Kit Symons said as he stated that his team still has a lot to go through.

Kit Symons is the 5th manager that Fulham has appointed in the past 5 years as the club has recently been going through a number of changes in the managerial position of the team and Symons is hoping that he can stay for a while in his spot but this will only happen if positive results start to appear in the pitch and if they can avoid being relegated in this season.
