Fulham head coach still believes they will escape relegation

Fulham coach, SlavisaJokanovic still believes that they will escape relegation and will not let himself influenced by what others are saying.

Fulham has become favorites with bookmakers to be relegated after their 1-1 draw with Birmingham.

When asked about the bookmaker odds, he stated that he is not into betting and that his job is to trust his team. He believes that the only way out is by spending time on the training field and preparing for the next game.

He is neither into betting nor into superstition. He has full confidence that his team will be able to turn the situation around and escape relegation. Fulham has only won twice under SlavisaJokanovic, and they have only eight games left to prevent themselves from being relegated.

Fulham’s next game come against MK Dons on Saturday and defeat will see Fulham drop into the relegation zone. Jokanovic believes that his team has what it takes to win it on Saturday and that they will do their best to achieve it.

In fairness, Fulham did not play poorly against Birmingham, a side that is in the top half of the table. They started the game really well, and they even had the best opportunities through Emerson Hyndman and Scott Parker.

Their good start was rewarded when Rohan Ince opened the score for them in the 38th minute. They hold on until half-time where they led by 1-0. Unfortunately for them, Birmingham equalized through Morisson after the break to earn one point from the encounter.

SlavisaJokanovic was first to recognize that they played well on the day. He believes that if they keep the same mentality and play with the same confidence, they are definitely going to pick up points and save their season.
