Slavisa Jokanovic Has No Intention of Leaving Fulham

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic says that he has no doubts about leaving the club despite rumours suggesting otherwise. It has been reported thatJokanovic his unhappy with the work done by director of football Craig Kline.

The latter has reportedly been blocking the club’s move for Andreas Pereira, who is one of the Manchester United youngsters seeking a move away from the club. Keen to take advantage of the situation, it appears thatJokanovic wanted the club to make an offer. Already rich with several talented youngsters, Fulham are thought to be toying the idea of signing an experienced professional or leaving the option in the early.

This led to rumours thatJokanovic was considering an exit from the club after having just help the team secure an unbeaten start to the campaign. Fulham are going through one of the best starts in recent memory, as they have taken 11 points from their opening five games. The four dropped points for the club came in the games against Leeds United and Cardiff City. Following the recent victory over Middlesbrough in the EFL cup, the stock ofJokanovic has risen even further. After failing to even come close to promotion qualification in recent years, it now seems that Fulham will do anything requested byJokanovic in order to return to the Premier League.

"I have to be proud. We showed quality, we showed the right spirit, we showed character. I am proud of what they have done in the game and how they fought.I never had any plan to leave Fulham. If I complain about something it is because I want the best for my team, my team-mates, the supporters too and I was very clear what is my opinion about this situation and that is it.I am still in the same position and believe we need more people to be stronger in the future," said Jokanovic.
