JOKANOVIC WANTED BY BORO AND SUNDERLAND

Fulham manager SlavisaJokanovic is a wanted man by Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

After a successful run this season, the Whites are keen on retaining him but other clubs also want him. He narrowly missed the playoffs against Reading but stats say Fulham were the most entertaining side to watch last term.

Middlesbrough earned a promotion to the top flight but after just a year they have been relegated back to the Championship. Sky Bet offers 7/2 odds at poaching Jokanovic from Fulham this summer as they plan their return to the Premier League. The Magpies would be an inspiration after their feat last year.
Watford and Sunderland are other sides that are reportedly interested in the coach as well. Watford have 18/1 while Sunderland are 9/1 to get him.

Aside Boro, Premier League new boys Newcastle United are also set to make a raid. The Magpies want Tom Cairney to join them in the top flight after their Championship playoff loss to Reading. They tried signing the Scot in the winter transfer window but they returned home after hearing the £20 million asking price.

Cairney is believed to want Premier League football so he might force Fulham to reconsider their strong stance of keeping all their players this summer. Had the team gotten promotion, Cairney might have stayed but their defeat to Reading means he would have to consider his career as he nears its peak.

Rafa Benitez wants Cairney for his goals and creativity in the middle. The Spaniard saw first-hand what the player can do when both sides met in the Championship. He scored 13 goals and had 11 assists from the centre of the midfield. The player would likely push for an exit and Fulham might not be able to force him to stay.

Newcastle are targeting the range of £10-15 million for the player but Fulham would try to get more. Benitez has his eyes on other players like Everton’s James McCarthy, Arsenal Calum Chambers and Hull City’s Harry Maguire.
